I have a Toro TimeCutter with a Toro Commercial V Twin engine.
Left side has 140 lbs. compression and the right side had only 25# compression.
I pulled off the head and checked valve movement after I lapped the valves.
After lapping the valves on right side, it brought the compression up to 55#.
no scratches in cylinder walls and piston was snug ( no rocking ).
engine vacuum seams a little low when i put my hand over intake.
Really scratching my head. No support available from Toro
Not even a spec sheet.
Anyone had a similar issue on this engine?

You should do a leak down test on that low cylinder to see if it’s the valves, head gasket or rings causing the loss. Toro Won’t have the support your looking for...need to just go by the engine manufacturer.

Give us the model and serial numbers for both the unit and engine. Don’t know where you’ve been looking, but Toro has a ton of materials available for most models.
