The Snapper Rebuild

In my last post I was just starting to take apart my Snapper the blown motor is off now. The wheel hubs would not come off, pb blaster, heat , banging , hub puller all to no avail. I wound up cutting down the middle pried the open a little sprayed some pb and finally they broke loose. Right fender removed opened up the differential all that was in there was sludge, 63 tooth gear looks good as does the all the others. Chain case is gouged from to much rear end play so will have to be replaced, LH panel the bearing/bushing is wallowed out more oval that round and grease fitting is broke off, so gonna press in a new one.So ordering parts for this phase this week and rebuild, Then next phase will be the smaller chain case, boots then re-install the the rear end.
