I have a Murray rider model # 425014X92B. Mower will not move in any gear. I removed the mower deck in order to see everything and inspect it.
Could this be a clutch adjustment issue? Or is it a transmission issue.
thanks for any advice and assistance and all have a great day.

There is no clutch adjustment on this unit. If you can’t shift the unit even when off I’d say you have a transmission problem. Murray used Dana transmissions in these units and they are very similar to Peerless units, when troubleshooting or repairing.

Thanks Rivets; There was a reference to clutch adjustment in owners manual. the clutch is adjustable and I did as the manual instructed and now it moves and shifts as it should. I do appreciate all of your assistance to all of us who use this forum.
