John Deere 160 mulch option

Hey all,
First post here..I have the JD 160 with the bagger. If I want to use it to mulch instead, what do I need to do? Do I have to purchase a whole new deck?

thanks for this info.

I remember when I bought it years ago they said a KIT was needed for mulching, and I just found a few of them for sale.
Are you saying that i can simply change the blades?

You will also need a mulching plate. This will block the discharge hole on the deck.
