Having trouble going up the hill all of a sudden - this week is won't make it up the hill at all. Is this most likely a drive belt issue, it runs fairly well on flat ground. [SUP][/SUP]

Thx

Thanks yes - the belt is very loose, but seems ok. I guess it might be the idler bracket or tension spring?

Not sure which drive system you have. Do you have the vari drive with 2 drive belts? Your belt should be fairly tight though. With clutch released you should be able to see if the idler is putting tension on the belt. If it’s maxed out towards the belt and still loose then probably a worn out belt.
