I was mowing today with my Cub Cadet LTX 1050VT and the mower belt solenoid stopped working. Belt is still in place. Engine was still running...just no power to the deck belt.
I set the parking brake, shut the engine off and turned the key on, pulled out the solenoid knob. There was no sound of the solenoid kicking in...nothing.
With engine running, pulling out on the solenoid knob, there is not sound from the solenoid indicating that it has kicked in.
What is the likely cause, how can it be fixed, advice?
