I bent the button on the end of my lift arm going under a low fruit tree. The plastic part of the plunger broke off and the metal piece u dear it is bent back at a 45 degree angle. Now I cannot push the button down to lower the deck for mowing.
I have tried pulling down on the linkage while pulling the lift arm, but nothing seems to work. I obviously need repairs.

Does anyone know a way I can release the deck so it will drop for mowing until I can get it in for repairs?

I have a Simplicity Broadmoor

post 7 digit model number, use quick release hitch below front of tractor so deck can rest on ground, next go to both rear sides of deck & adjust chain to lower deck where you desire height of cut, reattach front of deck & lock in place.

2691337 is the model number
