I have a 2016 Cub Cadet Enduro XT2 Kohler 24 KT735 engine. Two things, I had noticed the throttle was stuck in the middle and I somewhat forced it and it worked fine, a few days later I did the same thing ( I looked to see why it was getting stuck) but noticed that the throttle cable jacket was melted from sitting against the valve cover gasket. The throttle moves fine up and down but the rpms will not increase above idle. I had someone move the throttle and noticed that the arm it is attached to near the front of the engine between both valve covers does not move. I took the throttle assembly off the housing and it was still attached. Not sure what to do next. I assumed that if the cable was still attached to the throttle assembly that it was not broken. I'm not sure if the cable jacket being melted causes any problems (I doesn't appear to).
