I am in need of some help; just picked up a old Snapper 19inch model number 19357B deck in great shape with no motor, looking to find an engine that would be compatible. I have a Honda GCV160 but pretty sure the length of the crankshaft is much longer than the original 3.5hp Briggs and the blade would be hanging out the bottom of the deck. Does anyone know the correct crankshaft length I should be looking for? Or is there a way to adapt the GCV with a shorter blade adapter somehow?

Thanks in advance for any info.

I have a couple of 19300s from the 80s. They use a 1 13/16" shaft. We got out of the Snapper business in the early 90s, so I'm not sure if the newer ones are the same.
