Cub Cadet pusher Info

been gone awhile..
So.. I cannot figure out how to use this forum.. I used search and put in my mowers model number and get' no results'... I am sure I do not have a one off
suggestions needed.

Model (gives two model numbers

or

Been sitting with fuel drained for 3 years indoors.

drive cable is broke..

Would like any and all info on the drive system.. Weak.. trouble prone.. etc

Drive cable part number 946-04373. I’d order it through your local repair shop. Go to this website and you can down load an owners manual, which also has a complete parts list. http://manuals.mtdproducts.com/mtd/Public.do

MTD purchased Cub Cadet in 1981 so they have all been MTD for 30+ years.

The Drive Cable was shredded on this mower.. anybody have ant information concerning the drive system.. goods and bads.. Going to be a day or 2 before I can dig into this thing
(just got the mower and a Bolens Weed eater for $40).. both start but immediately shut down again so I am guessing time to go through the carbs and filters.
