New to the forum . . . .
So I bought a 18HP 42IN cut mower used from a friend of a friend. Long story short, I've had it for about a month and its been running for about a week as of now. (Changed oil and air filter, replaced plugs, sharpened blades, cleaned cylinder covers, replaced starter) Now, after mowing some of our property, I'm needing to replace the belt. *sigh* Unfortunately, all information from under the seat is gone. Needing some help to find the model and/or SN to get a replacement belt (unless a "standard" 42 inch belt will work).

Its an 18 HP BS motor, 42 Inch Troy Bilt 6 Spd (I believe).

Thanks in advance.

Are you needing drive belts or a deck blade belt?

Post the model type and code information from the engine. sometimes I can backtrack down to a few model numbers based on engine information.

13AQ609G063, is the only model made for the 2000 model year that uses the opposed twin engine.

Thank you very much!! It’s a model 609 per further research. I was able to find the manual on sears website as well :)
