I bought this mower second hand a few years ago. The fuel solenoid linkage was bent and rubbed the intake hose. I added a piece of flat stock to allow the solenoid to be mounter further from the block. This allowed for clearance of the hose but doesn't allow the linkage to move straight in and out as intended. It's caused premature failure of the solenoid. I bought new solenoid, linkage and hose thinking one or more of these weren't original. With new replacement parts I'm still having the same issue. Can anyone send me a picture or video of the linkage working properly?
I'm wondering if maybe the shroud that the air cleaner assembly box is misaligned somewhere form a previous owner's mishap. Any help would be appreciated.
thanks,
matt
