Hi guys i have a lawnflite 527
That has a cutter deck belt
754-0195A can i ask can i use a car V belt of the same
Size or would that not work and do i need this exact belt

Belt is a 4L 54"
gates number 6854

If you want to put a car fan belt on go ahead.
It will not be the same size because car belts are plain A 1/2" not 13 mm 4L profile.
And being pollyester not kevlar will probably fall apart before you finish your first mow

Lol ok so that answers my question answers that a car v belt would be no good....
In that case can anyone send me a link to purchase the correct belt as being outside the usa they all seem to be usa sites...

The Gates number should be recognised in the UK being they are just about the world standard reference.
That number is from their lawn & garden range so is a kevlar belt.
Stens & Oregon both sell into the UK for after market belts a bit cheaper than OEM

The L profile is metric so in the UK you should be falling over them, well till Brexit when the UK will obviously go back the Kings thumb units of measurement :laughing:
