I am installing a different engine on my1984 troybilt horse and need the engine mounting bolt torque specs. I will appreciate any help as I can find them anywhere.

I looked around and couldn't find anything, I usually put a open end wrench on the bolt, and choke up on the wratchet, and snug it up, then run it awhile then check it again. I would say around 160 in lbs or so should get ya close.

Thanks for the information. I have another question. How do you determine where to place the output shaft key? For instance if the shaft is 2 5/16" long with the keyway about 1//4" shorter and the pulleys keyway is just over 3 1/2" long how much of the key should be installed in the keyway of the pulley?

I generally just put the key all the way onto the shaft, then slide the pulley over it and bolt it on...
