Has anyone here adjusted the height on a 72" deck? I've been sick and unable to mower for a while, and my grass is too high to cut at a normal deck height.
The deck adjusters have holes and a peg to rise/lower the deck. And those work fine with 2 of the 3 adjusters,
The left hand adjuster holes don't line up with the piece that moves with the deck itself. There is a bolt on the top of this adjuster and it looks like the bolt could change the height, but this procedure is not mentioned in the manual, in fact the manual just states to move the pins and change the height. I don't want to move a bolt that I'm not sure what it does.
I email Grasshopper about this and got nothing back. They had a great tech guy there for years named Dick who would email me hand drawn diagrams for problems I had in the past. He would even call to talk me through some repairs. Great guy. But he retired so that resource is gone.
Any help you guys can give me would be appreciated.
