Hi
I have a lawnboy 20" mower
Model# 10641
Serial# 290046958

I would like to replace the blown engine with one that is more powerfull than the one that it came with
Briggs & Stratton 6.50 FT-LBS groos torque.
What can I replace it with that would be a direct bolt on to the current deck?
Thanks

There are so many variables to create a frankenmower. Lawn boy created their engines to mont their decks and visa versa. With the blade height you will just have to try anyone you can, and you may have create a new hole and maybe spacers. Hope that helps.

The engine in question is not a Lawn-Boy mill, but is a Briggs & Stratton.

The bolt pattern for Briggs and Stratton engine and Lawn Boy deck are so different that I am not saying it hasn't been done but to know which briggs engine fits a lawn boy deck is a shot in the dark. I have tried a few. Plus the shaft size plays in.

The Briggs on his mower is a standard bolt pattern for that engine.
The same thing occurs with Tecumseh engines. Standard fare...nothing altered to fit.

I am sorry I misunderstood the question. I lost mindset of the earlier LBs.
