14SBC

Hi gang,

Im here because we are stumped. I have a 14SB that the BBC lever does not stay engaged. I installed a new BBC control, think that was it.
Did not work. Got a second cable. Still does not work.

Every BBC we have ever seen the lock mechanism is inside the control box. By chance does any one know if the lock is in the BBC on this one?
Bought these mowers when I work for Deere's in the 90's. Dang forgot is we did any BBC work on any.

everything is in the handle pretty much, except for a cable adjustment.
they get picky sometimes!

Its weird that the two replacement controls are broken the like OEM.
Good thing my hair is short
