Hustler 4400 Range Wing

Anyone familiar with older Hustler.. my 4400 drives straight forward and backwards fine.. runs out fine, but when turning either direction it's jerky and slow.. just bought it used last week it had been sitting 6 yrs but fired right up with a battery and diesel fuel..

Cole,

Jack up the wheel motors. Run the sticks forward and backward for about ten seconds in each direction several times to see if the hydraulics may have gotten some air in them. They may smooth out.

I found that where steer rods connect to valve there were no bushings.. Only the 1/8 inch pin in the 1/2 hole so valves not fully shifting..

That would make them loose travel at the pivot point for certain.
