Hello,

I mow between 2.5 to 3 acres of grass on my property that is fairly bumpy in sections. I currently have a JD X520 tractor with 54" deck. I am looking at moving to a zero turn mower for this summer.

I need something that is well built and sturdy (commercial). My elderly dad will be using it from time to time so safety and comfort are paramount.

I set the following parameters for the models I'm considering:
1. Dealer in my area
2. Fabricated deck
3. ROPS
4. Seat belt
5. Price

With all this considered I have researched several brands / models and have narrowed the choices down to two.

1. Kubota Z100 Kommander model Z125SKH-54
2. Gravely Pro Turn Z 60

Does anyone have any opinions between the two mentioned mowers? At 0% leasing for 48 months, the Gravely will be about $6.00 more per month.

Thank you,

I'm not too sure about the Kubota but you may want to step up to the Pro Turn 100 series. They come standard with a suspension seat, whereas I don't believe just the Pro Turn has the suspension seat.

Between those two models, I believe you will get more bang for your buck with the Kubota.
