We recently moved to a wooded lot and our cub has become more of a lawn tractor than a lawn mower. In this role it developed a problem of constant flat tires. I tried a goop inter tube and the tire still went flat. I ordered some flat proof tires. When I installed them the hub was not as wide as the original and did not have bearings.

I'm looking for other options. Any BTDT stories?

We had the same problem at our farm due to heavy duty thorn bushes. After replacing a couple of tube I checked the inside of the tire and found a thorn that you could not see from the outside. Every time I put a new tube in the thorn got it. Some people foam the tires (check on YouTube). Any chance of mounting the flat proof tires on your rims?

Thanks Tom

I do not think there is any way to move the flat proof tires from one rims to the others. I looked at some youtube videos. What a mess, but might be where I end up going if no-one comes up with anything better.
