Walk behind Model 12a-98m7010 Drive assembly

Hello,
I have a walk-behind self propelled mower model 12a-98m7010.
I was having a problem with the drive and troubleshot that the drive assembly (#918-0263A) had a broken spring with a part of it missing.
I can not find a part number for the spring or even a photo of this spring on any of the online part sellers. Even looking at new drive assemblies online, I don't' see the spring. I don't know the exact name for the parts, but this spring is attached the "tension pulley" and is stretched when the drive handle is pulled. Any suggestions welcomed.

i do not see a spring, try locating your mower at big box store or dealer & take pictures of spring location & let us know

Thanks for your reply, but I'm not sure this helps. The diagram only shows the whole drive assembly as one part. #32 on page 24. There is a spring on the bottom side of smaller pulley.
