snapper sr1433 purchase questions

Hi all. I am looking to buy a Snapper sr1433. I've seen a few listed locally. One of them has a 12.5 hp briggs motor. All the other information I found online said that the sr1433 mowers had either a Kohler 14.5, or a Briggs 14.5. I cannot find anything on them being sold with a 12.5hp Briggs. Can anyone give me insight to this?

Also, the one mower looks like it was repainted, and the deck looks a little beat. I am going to see it tomorrow. Link is below. What should I look for when I test it? This will be my first riding mower. Thanks

this is the other one that is nearby. Seems like a better mower. Unfortunately the person is not returning my messages, so it may have sold.
