I have a Super Mini Z with 25 hp Kawa . When installing the centrifugal clutch the clutch has 2 stop slots. does it matter which of these I use?

Just make sure you can plug the wiring in. No, it does not matter.

Have a look at the slots.
If they are at either end of a plate so there i a short tank on one side and a big plate on the other then from an engineering point of view it would be better to have the plate side on the thrust side.
It is rare for one side of a slot to bend allowing the clutch to spin but it occasionally happens.

As previously mentioned, from the clutch's point of view it makes no difference .
