I'm wondering if anyone has used an after market (fleabay) carb for a John Deere 322 or if a 318 is the same base. The know not the same engine but similar HP ratings.
The tractor was left in storage after the fuel pump went. I replaced the fuel pump,all filters, fuel pickup line, plugs and replaced and a coil pack. Compression is 150-160. The intake is missing numerous springs and attachments for the carb linkage. I ran it at idle until warm then wide open its struggles 3/4 throttle and above. I have had the carb apart 3 times and have had it rebuilt at a local shop. Only other possible issue I can think of is a clogged exhaust which I think is unlikely.
