Stihl cut off saw not running-good comp, cleaned carb, good spark.Starts when I spray some gas in to cylinder and dies.Start checking and spot some oil by pull starter cup, maybe bad seals?.Have a question is tread left-handed on starter side and flywheel side?
Thank you for any info,Dan

This should help:
(Starter cup nut, REGULAR, RIGHT HAND threads)
(Clutch itself, REVERSE THREAD)

I'd be looking for hair line cracks in the fuel lines before getting in deep in the engine. That would explain no fuel making it to the combustion chamber and excess oil/gas leaking.

As the machine has a primer bulb, priming with the cover off should show any leaks..

The typical symptoms of blown oil seals is very difficult to start cold but starts fine when hot ( seals are wet ) & sluggish acceleration
