One thing to watch for is the axle diameter. The standard seems to be 3/4 inch with a keyway, your bigger hydro might be a 1 inch axle. Replacing wheels can get expensive if needed. And some axles are splined rather than keyed. I replaced my K46 TT (L130 mower) with a Peerless 2000 series that did bolt up to the frame and used the same wheels, but lots of mushfake for other parts. Wife says I should have junked the Deere and bought another brand but it's really hard to find anything with a decent hydrostat that can be relied on. I'm guessing these Chinese transmissions probably wholesale for about $35 each to the factories. Don't laugh, I'm serious.

The K65 Trans will not go backward or forward I had the John Deere dealer look at it & he said the trans had to be replaced but he could not fix it or come up with a replacement suggestion.

I also spoke to a John Deere rep, & he conveyed the same thing & no other dealer would look at it once one dealer gives a prognoses.

No one @ John Deere could tell me if there was a replacement trans for it like the K66 or the HYDRO-GEAR model T2-CDBE-5X1A-18C1

I'm very disappointed in John Deere, they advertise that nothing runs like a deere, the only thing that's still running is my old Wheel Horse 312-8 still cutting & plowing snow.

400 hours is not many hours for flat land cutting & snow plowing.

I have been reading on this trans and it looks like the pulley strips out at the input shaft a lot. You might want to check that.
