Hello! I bought this one rototiller with a 10 - 15 HP motor but I can't find one plate or engraved spot with any information on it, I think its Kohler but I really have no idea, it needs a new carb but I cant find one IMG_20181224_170458.jpg MVIMG_20181224_170639.jpg MVIMG_20181224_170639.jpg

It looks to me either a Kohler or a Tecumseh.
Then again I could be dead wrong.
I assume you scraped the snow off and looked for numbers?

On all or most kohler's the model number information is on a silver a sticker on the blower housing (where the recoil starter is). Of course with it being a sticker it can be peeled or torn off.

Tecumseh Numbers: https://www.jackssmallengines.com/jacks-parts-lookup/tecumseh-model-locator.aspx

You could also take off the carb and look for any numbers on it.

To me it looks like an H70 or H80 Tecumseh. Wipe the snow off the top of the shroud and you’ll find the numbers.

Yeah, I've narrowed it to Tecumseh before I even checked back to this. Thanks for all the replies! its close to an H70 from a photo I found on google, but I still need to look at the H80. I looked on the outside there were no numbers on it, maybe under the metal plating? I have no idea, the carb had some but didn't know it was a Tecomseh.

Maybe I'll just buy a carb for the H70 and see if it fits.

If I'm not mistaken the 70 and 80 carbs are the same..... Depending on the year model... The main nozzle jets are different colors...... For the certain HP's ......

I did a 80 in the fall of 2017 or spring of 2018 for a friend of mine.... That's 1 reason it's in my books... LOL..... It was on a genny...... Now he runs it 2 times a month and loads the genny up with a drill and then a fan........

Then he turns the gas off at the tank and runs it dry ..... Starts right away every time.....

Ah, Ok, thank you! I think my engine is from around the 70s.

I'm also looking for a honda f 250 rotary cultivator air filter. I haven't been able to find anything like it, you can kind of see the rototiller in the back of the photos I have of the Tecumseh, it seems older and the air filter is like a round rectangle I don't know if honda even still has those air filters.

Could you post a pic of the air filter? Model of the engine would help as well.
