Hi, this is my first post and I hope you can help me.

I have the Simplicity mower mentioned above, model 7800933-00. The headlight presses into the metal of the steering "column", and the is a green wire leading from the light to ground and a red/white coming from the harness to the light. No problem there. But I also have a green wire coming from the same harness leading nowhere; it comes out of the harness, is about 8'' long, has a female connector on the bottom, and just hangs there. There is no place to plug it in. Any thoughts as to where that might go?

Also, I have had a hard time starting it in the past, having to push the brake pedal numerous times before it would start (you have to be seated, with the brake pushed in and the blade disengaged to start it). I've purchased the brake switch thinking that's probably my issue, but haven't installed it yet. Are there any known problems/weak areas with this model's electrical system I should know about?

Thanks!

Mike
