New to the forum needing some advice. My zero turn is 2-3 years old with about 50 hours. I’ve kept up with maintenance and had zero issues until now. I was mowing some thicker stuff and hit a tree root. Mower seemed fine but I disengaged the blades, applied the brake, and put the handles in neutral before I shut her off. Once I was sure everything looked ok, I started it back up, engaged the blades, but forgot to disengage the brake so it shut off on me. Now it will not fire back up. The engine turns when I crank it but it will not start. Almost sounds to me like the flywheel is turning too hard as it is louder than normal. Gas, battery, and oil are good. And the brake and handles are where they need to be. The mower blades are also disengaged. Any advice on where I should start?

Look at the flywheel key. Make sure it is a perfect square.
