EZ Trac (Z225) Starting Problems

I am new here so if not the correct protocol I am sorry, but this is too important not to share. My Z225 mower would turn over like a banshee, but wouldn't start. Actually it fumbled a couple of times and almost started, but didn't run for long. Mobile guy comes by and pulls a connector at the engine, which cancelled all of the safety switches. Problem solved with a new magneto. Please don't leave this connector unplugged, these safeties are there for a reason.
