Posted this earlier but maybe in the incorrect part of the forum so here goes again.

"Am in the process of buying a Billy Goat KV 601 self propelled leaf vacuum. Unsure as to which engine to go for BS Quantum 625E series 190cc (112K020124E1) or Honda 190cc GSV190LN1L. The Honda will cost £100 than the BS. Also is there anything regarding the operation/performance of the Billy Goat I should
be aware of. Have watched numerous YouTube videos all of which seem to suggest it is a decent bit of kit. "

Thanks

pay the extra $ 100 for the Honda.1) it is a much better built engine and will run for a much longer time ( if serviced regularly ).
2) it comes std with a fuel tap so you can turn the fuel supply off and run the engine out when you store the machine.
3) the Honda engine has a muffler that works really well so the vacuum is a lit quieter in use.
4) the Honda engine is better balanced so it shakes less

Have bought the Honda for what extra it cost, with a little twisting of the dealers arm:thumbsup:, so am happy.
