Repairs Toro timecutting zt wont go forward or reverse

Toro timecutting zt wont go forward or reverse
,doesn't seem to be engaging pypass rod.
to start elec pto bearing was frozen and pto had shorted out.

while waiting for part, I was able to start engine and make the unit go forward & reverse.

after replacing pto, unit won't go forward or reverse.
Seems like the pypass rod isn't fully engaging in oether forward or revers.
can push rod a little further with a screwdriver,but it does not stay in that position.
kinds of springs back a little.

The drive belt is not on all the pulleys correctly.

will find belt schematic & check.

You were correct, it was the belt.
Had slipped off 1 of the pulleys.
