Sometimes it starts but other times I just hear the clicking sound. Just like a previous member says "if you keep trying eventually it will start". So, the solution was not given but a few maybes were. Does anyone know for sure that it is the solenoid that needs to be replaced? I know its not the battery and not the ignition switch. I just changed those and still have the same clicking before it eventually starts. Last time it shut down while I was riding it and wouldn't restart. Please help me get the ghost out of the machine.

The most usual cause for a no crank / hard crank is lack of decompression.
On singles it is nearly always excessive valve lash.
After that it can be worn cam lobes, a broken compression release, bent pushrod and a hundred other things.
We would need a lot more information and then no one can guarantee they have the correct solution.
In the time it takes to type all of the replies, you could have done the valve lash 15 times.
