I love Walkers. Yes I know they are made for hunting, but work extremely well in all conditions I get into.

Hate to admit it, however, these are the quietest I've found. https://www.harborfreight.com/hearing-protector-64675.html https://www.harborfreight.com/hearing-protector-64675.html

The most comfortable I've found is also from Harbor Freight. https://www.harborfreight.com/industrial-ear-muffs-43768.html https://www.harborfreight.com/industrial-ear-muffs-43768.html

I know, let me have it. I like the headband to fit behind my head so I can wear that ugly hat Tom showed us last year. The combination works fantastically.

I've got 5 brands, all of which now sit in their original product delivery boxes all cleaned up awaiting someone to come by needing a set of hearing cups.

Try'em, you'll like'em.

I've used these for years. They fit comfortably with safety glasses and a hat. Ear muffs give me a headache, and earplugs are a headache to use.

If money is no object and you also shoot guns or something "active" hearing protectors are great. I had a set of Peltor's years ago that had AM/FM radio, auxiliary input and active hearing protection. They have stereo microphones and actually amplify quiet noises and electronically cancel loud ones. So you can operate power equipment and still hear background noise. Great for working out by the road or communicating with others while still wearing them. Some can be equipped with microphones for 2 way radio use and/or phone calls. I usually use the WorkTunes but upgraded to the bluetooth unit this season. The active units are just too expensive to justify starting at around $200.
