Has anybody had a hood hinge break off on both sides of the frame on mt LT133. There are several LT models with the same hood. They are LT150,155,160,166,170,180,190. Is there anyway to drill through the side,or if I do will it eventually break the plastic? Is there a kit for this repair? New lower hoods cost $250.00 and up. Rather not spend that though. Please reply with suggestions. Thank you, Lou

it looks similar to the LX models, which they use to make a kit for. I hope you dont have to get a new hood! They are made so flimsy anymore...

Thank you. I will try to search it out. Meanwhile,I am using duct tape holding the hood in place. Works great. Can I runn the mower without the drive belt shield cover. The part number for that is M165186. Thsnks , Lou
