Smile My mower starts but dies when putting into drive or cut

Hi, can anyone help? My ride on mower starts fine but dies if I let my foot off the clutch to drive it. It does the same if I try to put it into cut and the alarm to signify the box is full of grass also goes off. I've overridden the safety switch under the seat and the one for the grass box, I've replaced the carburettor recently too. Any suggestions? Please help I'm struggling to cut an acre with a push mower! Many thanks

Fault in the seat switch or wiring to it .
Have you had it running with the seat switch bypassed which by the way is a stupid thing to do.

Any more detailed help will require you making the effort to post the model number from the tag under the seat so we know which of the 642 mowers with McCulloch on a decal you have.
You are there we have nothing to work with other than what you type.
