not getting power to starter selanoid

Give us something to work with. brand, mower, brand engine, model number of engine
what happened, when happened ,what have you checked, replaced ?

battery dead
Key switch bad
Lug connect loose at battery
solenoid bad/connections on it bad
Ground connection on mower bad
You are not sitting in the seat
You left the PTO switch engaged
Brake not on or brake switch bad
mower levers not in correct position
