Am trying to teach myself small engine repair by working on an old craftsman LT2000. Have managed to install a new carb but for the life of me can't figure out the throttle linkage. Any help would be most appreciated.

Please post the make and model from the engine please. From the pics it looks to be connected right. Could not see the throttle cable or the gov. spring. So what are you having trouble with?

What you have so far looks OK, but see the Governor spring (last pic bottom right) and linkage adjust procedures in sections 4 & 5 of this Manual.. be sure throttle cable on carb linkage mounting bracket is adjusted correctly....

ALSO, please learn to use photo editing Pgm. to "flip" your pics, us "ol-farts" have bad necks from cranking our heads too many times trying to see "eye-candy"

The first lesson of doing this work is to take lots of pictures before you start working on it the take lots more pictures as you are working on it.
