I picked this up and plan to start cutting my lawn as soon as this rain ends. It appears to start and run fine, but I just want to make sure I look up the right manual and for any future parts I may need. Unfortauntely the model/serial sticker is all mostly gone. I looked for alternate stickers, etc in all the locations noted on Toro's site without luck.

I emailed Toro with this information and tons of pics. Unfortunately after a week i got a useless response.

My best guess is that it is the 20038, but then there are 3 different serial options of beginning with 22xxxxxxx,23xxxxxxx, or 24xxxxxxx
It has the Briggs and Stratton Intek 6.75HP OHV GTS motor listing cover part number 105-8571 for the "Decal-recoil"; it is a pull cord to start, not electric.
I've included pics of motor serial as well as sticker of purchase location:
Nichols Farm Equipment
927 Buckhorn Rd, Bloomsburg, PA 17815

We can partial see the UPC barcode too of:
0210382

I think the motor serial is this, but check pic:
122602 0111 E1 021011 FA
I used the lookup on Briggs & Stratton and it says it is engine model 122602-0111-e1 with date code of 021011 meaning motor is from year 2002 on October 11th.

Lastly, Is it true that some proline parts may fit, such as metal wheels instead of plastic? I figured I will do a full tune up, and maybe get a new blade. Any thing else I should get off the rip?

With your engine being built in 2002, your mower is most likely a 2003 model, meaning use the 23XXXXXX manual will be the way to go. I don’t know of any major changes during the three years that model was built, so anyone of the manuals will probably work. Interchanging plastic to metal wheels will probably not work, because of different drive gears.
