2 year old (just out of warranty) Troy Bilt 1842, with the Briggs and Stratton motor. Running fine, then suddenly quit. No restart. Will catch and run for a second or two with Quick Start sprayed into the intake, but once burned off, ;quits again. Replaced air and fuel filters and rubber gas line is full of gas. Gas also visible in filter. It quit about a month ago, same thing, then next day restarted and ran with no further issues until yesterday. Won't replicate the miraculous reboot of the first incident. Can't see it being the fuel pump since it resolved itself previously. Running on Quick Start seems to negate any electrical issues, has to be fuel related. Stumped.

Try this first unplug the wires from the anti backfire solenoid and take it off. No need to take the carb bowl off just the solenoid.... Catch the gas into a clean small container. Check for water and or trash.......

Diagnosed and repaired. Bad solenoid switch on the carb. Thank you for your help.
