My 721D starts intermittently with the key, otherwise I have to jump the solenoid. The PTO would not engaged the last time I used it until I wiggled the wire near the connector at the PTO. When I finished mowing I tried the key and it turned over for a second and then nothing.
I am wondering if the problem with the wire to the PTO could be affecting it from starting by key. Does it think the PTO is engaged so it won't let it start.
I have checked all the fuses and they are all good.
ANother problem I have is the filter keeps running out of fuel and I have to open the primer screw to fill it up to keep mowing. I pulled out the tube in the tank and made sure it was clear and trimmed the bottom off the tube at an angel. WHen I open the screw the filter fills right up so I wouldn't think it would be the fuel pump.
