Hello, I'm Jimmy in North Charleston, SC. I have a Craftsman 917.289240 riding mower, which I'm told was built by Husqvarna. The manual's instructions for replacing the air filter are obviously for a completely different type of filter, and I didn't want to break something while trying to get the current filter off, so I joined this group. Then I found the manual for the engine at Briggs and Stratton's website, and it has instructions for my filter, so that problem is solved.
I have a problem with a different machine; I'll make a separate post for that.
