LX 188 Oil Light keeps coming on

I have a LX 188 that the oil light keeps coming on. Noticed that we are using more oil lately. I filled the oil resovoir, but the light keeps coming on after mowing for a short period of time. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

It takes about 4 psi to open the low oil switch.
You have low oil pressure or a bad switch.

What weight oil are you using?
