Craftsman model # 917.273080, serial # 100200A010684-Steering will not turn left but turns right just fine. 22 hp electric start-46" garden tractor. What part or parts do I need? Thanks.

If it won't turn, in either direction, the linkage is binding somewhere probably, and should be easily spotted. The other problem to look for is wear of teeth on steering gear or wollered out bearing/holes.

Thanks. I checked the teeth on the gear. They looked ok. I put some axle grease on the teeth and that helped a lot. Turns better to the left now. Think it might be this-wollered out bearing/holes. Thanks again.
