Spitting and sputtering

Hi all I’m new here. I own a Troy built pony with a Briggs & Stratton 15.5 hp. I believe it is a 2015. When it warms up it will spit and sputter and sometimes just die. I thought it could be the solenoid in the carb but I have ruled that out. Any help troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 24 hp Koehler and had the same issue as discussed in a thread I posted 2 July. Turned out simply loosening the gas cap solved the sputtering issues I was having. Might be worth a try. Good luck.
