I have enjoyed visiting this site for some time as a guest, but have
now joined.
I am the 2nd owner of a pristine 1968 Bolens Lawnskeeper which
I want to sell to make room for other things. I travel between the
western suburbs of Chicago and Davenport Iowa, so it can be available yard
anywhere along that route if anyone is interested.
I used if for over 10 years to mow my rather large house yard in the
Chicago area, but finally retired it after I bought a JD F510 - which is
much safer on the steep hills in my yard.
Everything is good on the machine, engine starts and runs well, and uses no
oil, deck had new spindle bearings a few years ago, deck caster wheels are
good, transmission is good, and tires hold air. I am asking $250 for it.
I am new to this site, and not quite sure how to post pictures, but will send
pictures and answer any questions if anyone inquires. I am not a dealer.
I also have a 16hp 4-wheel Heald Hauler I want to sell to make room.
