I have been reading a lot where people have this "surge" in their engine! I have read that people are buying new carbs and this still has not fixed the problem. That is because, they are not completing the actual fuel system problem. The problem lies in the intake valve. It is not seating and is allowing the fuel and air mixture to come back to the carb. You have to remove the valves out of the engine, clean them up and reinstall them with the correct clearance. The valves control the carb!!! If you also notice that you have a blue haze around the yard after cutting your grass and are going through oil between oil changes, the exhaust valves is not closing all the way, and with the movement of the piston, it is acting like an oil pump!! If you want instruction on how to do a valve job, feel free to contact me and I will walk you through it!! 99% of the shops miss this, so don't feel bad!!
