FH661V-AS05-R.

I replaced a coil with a new OEM one because a mouse chewed through the old one. I adjusted the gov. New NGK BR4ES plugs, new air filter, new fuel filter. Was running good for awhile and now it's running like crap. I can manipulate it with the choke. Runs better with choke partially on? I took carb off and sprayed out what I could see. Didn't notice any jets? Did I not look hard enough?

Spraying 'what you can see' will not cure a carburetor that needs cleaning.

I know. I sprayed all the passages to make sure they were clear. I didn't see any dirt or grime. I think you are suggesting that I need to dig deeper into the carb? I'm here for direction and advice.

Yep, that's what I'm suggesting.

Most people don't have a good feeling for how small critical passages are and how clean they must be for the carburetor to work properly. The fact that using the choke can improve how the engine runs is indicative of a carburetor has has blocked or partially blocked passages.

Does this throttle plate look like it's open far enough to you? This is wide open.

Went and got a new one. Showed them the carb and they said it looked really clean. Suggested that its probably a coil going bad. I replaced one due to a mouse chewing the plug wire in half. Told me to put a spark tester on it and see what happens. I'll do that when I get the carb back together.
