I have a ferris dual drive walk behind with a 48" mower. I mower a lot of banks and hills on my properties. My DD holds the banks very well had to add weight to the front to go up hills when I need to. I'm looking at getting a fw35 with a 48" deck or a SRS Z2 with 52" deck. I would love the stand on but not sure if it will hold the banks like the walk behind will. Most the banks are 45% or less that I can mow with my Walk behind. I'm afraid that the z2 is top heavy and and won't have as good of grip on the banks. Any one have a z2 and use it on banks and hills? looking for some advise. The dealers I've talk to keep saying the Z2 will work but I'm thinking they are saying that so they can sell me a mower that is more exspensive. Just want to hear from people who have used them.

Make them let you demo the unit. If they want the sake and it will do the job then they will demo it.

I agree with this and will you be keeping your walk behind for backup?

What about oil starvation? Depends of engine.
