Have a snapper yard cruiser...Hydro Drive Series 3..
It is a strong machine...mechanics are reliable..However;
-The blades will not pickup the grass behind the front
right caster...unless the grass is completely dry, at
least 95 degrees and windy. The rest of the time,
it leaves a strip...not everywhere..I think the thinner
grasses bounce back better. I live in the middle of a pasture.
-The deck plugs too easy..moist grass..light dew and
the inside upper corners of the deck start packing grass...
Then I have to stop and get out the water hose...
I think its the type of deck...steel horizontal
upper plate with contoured vertical sides. The 361
dixon..cuts grass any condition..water on the ground
you name it..Never gets plugged, but it has a stamped
deck...inside rounded corners..IMHO that is the reason.
